Neurological impact report
NEUROSCORE™
Powered by Meta FAIR TRIBE v2 (CC BY-NC 4.0). Saliency is not affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc.
NeuroScore™ is Saliency's proprietary metric. Results represent simulated, not clinical, brain activity.

How it works

Three steps from your creative to a full neurological impact report. No lab required, no waiting room.

STEP 01

Upload your creative

Drop a video, image, or paste ad copy directly into the scanner. Saliency accepts MP4, MOV, JPG, PNG, and plain text. Or paste any YouTube or Vimeo URL.

STEP 02

Cortical simulation

Meta FAIR's TRIBE v2 model processes your content and simulates fMRI BOLD signal activation across 20,484 cortical vertices — the same resolution as a real brain scan.

STEP 03

NeuroScore™ report

Activations are mapped to five functional brain regions using the HCP Destrieux parcellation atlas. You get five region scores plus a proprietary NeuroScore™ and actionable improvement suggestions.

The science behind the scores

Traditional neuromarketing requires lab equipment, participants, and weeks of analysis — costing $15,000 to $80,000 per study. Saliency replaces that with a computational model trained on real fMRI data.

TRIBE v2 is a trimodal encoder developed by Meta FAIR and trained on the Natural Scenes Dataset — one of the most comprehensive fMRI corpora ever collected. It takes video, audio, and text as input and predicts cortical activation patterns with state-of-the-art accuracy.

Activations are aggregated using the Human Connectome Project Destrieux parcellation — a scientifically validated anatomical brain map used in peer-reviewed neuroscience research.

Visual Saliency
Occipital & ventral visual stream. Measures how strongly the visual cortex locks onto your creative. High scores mean attention-grabbing imagery.
Auditory Engagement
Heschl's gyrus & superior temporal regions. Captures response to voiceover tone, music, and sound design.
Cognitive Load
Prefrontal cortex. Measures mental effort required to process the message. Lower is often better — complexity loses audiences.
Embodied Response
Motor & premotor cortex. Detects action-oriented activation — urgency, desire, and physical response signals.
Emotional Resonance
Default mode network. The brain's meaning-making system. High scores indicate narrative depth, personal relevance, and emotional memory encoding.
